I have not canceled War Storm or Tales of War, although War Storm is on hold. Meanwhile, I found a post from someone on DHW and thought I could make the game for them. But it has since changed into an arena, so here is my sneak preview (in other words, don't post anything about it on other websites!)

Screenshots:

Little Gif of a swinging axe (temporary sprite) killing some guys. The screens weren't supposed to be a sequence though, so the axe may move weird.

The Heavy Assault Rife attepting to take out a bot.

Here is a list of some changes I have made: (If they have ^ they still need implanting)
*128x128 Graphics
*Frags On Statbar
*Cannot swich weapons - pick one up and you must use it
*Pistol has unlimited ammo
*Weapons now shoot projectiles (Thanks to Wolf3dBreaker)
*Enemies can pickup objects (including weapons! Thanks to Andy3012 & MCS)
*Options Menu (Thanks to Ingo, though it is VERY buggy)
*Episodes now Game Mods
*Directional 3d Sprites (Thanks to Ripper)
*Animated sprites and direction sprites (Thanks to WSJ)
*You have 1 Health (Unless you pick up the Health Upgrade)
*Health Upgrade Pickup (Gives you 5% health, and can be picked by bots)
^Quad Damage (Timer Thanks to MCS, and bots can pick it up too!)
^Turn onable animated objects (ex: Sinks)
And there of course will be more once I think about it.

So how does it look?

EDIT: The Quad Damage Used to Be Godmode, but I thought that was cheap.

Yes, it's got a lot of cool stuff in it. Can't wait to see it finished. Have the bugs been sorted out in the 'options menu'?

Conner, I need to speak with you. I was already doing this (It's called Wolf Extremeties). I hope to implement features that make you feel like your playing games like UT2004. Would you be able to share your AI upgrades if you've implemented any?

I really want help in that department, and one other secret one...

@Deathshead you seem to be having some secret thing going on, i`d like to see what it is but maybe i`ll have to wait for Wolf Extremities to come out.
It`s pretty easy to make an enemy point a specific object(i made this kind of like the greed level in EOD).

@Conner94 your game seems good. The new menu has a lot of bugs, if you get some improvement could you tell me? I`m working on it too. Also i`m interested in the turn on animated objects thing. I have a little thing i wanted to do and it could be very easily done if i got that code.

That's right Flamer. I will say that it is the same idea as Arena, except I am trying to implement different things to Conners (though some are thye same). For example, there will be new weapons not previously seen in a Wolf3D game, and such.

I will need some rather thorough beta testers soon though, so if you really want a sneak peak, you could sign up for that when the time comes.

@Deathshead - First off, I haven't gotten new A.I. finished, though I plan to make them a bit smarter when it comes to fire, swing axes, bullets ect. so the will avoid them. I'll give you any code I can whip up. If you need any feature listed here, just tell me and I'll send you the code/link.

Edit:
@Flamer - If I can get the bugs worked out, I'll tell you the code. As of now I am working on Doom Maps, which are far cooler than Wolfenstein maps, but I am not out of Wolfenstien.

Conner the ai seems interesting, i`d like to have a look at it. As for the new menu i`d like the code since i don`t really know the menu part of the code.

Sorry I haven't been around lately, once you get into DooM you get stuck, and it makes Wolfenstein seem so...plain. Anyway, some small things have been done, though nothing worth adding to the list. I'll see if I can get some of the bugs out and get some major features in.

I was thinking about it, and when I get home I think I might continue/restart this. I know how to do better menus (see War Storm's moddb page) and other cool features, and I want to change things. Features I *plan* to have:
*Hi-Res Weapons (Still just 1 64x64 sprite, but weapon takes up all room)
*Normal Health (But Weapons Do More Damage)
*Quad Damage Artifact (4xDamage)
*6 Game Modes, Including:
- Deathmatch (Standard Kill Everyone)
- Teamdeathmatch (Kill Everyone - Execpt Your Team)
- Capture The Flag (Take Enemy flag and return to base)
- Exterminator (Only The Exterminator Gets Points, Kill to become it)
- Fiesta! (Deathmatch, start with random weapon)
- King of The Hill (Get points for being in the hill)
*7 Weapons
-Laser Pistol
-Machinegun
-Laser Cannon
-Plasma Gun
-Rocket Launcher
-Minigun
-Beam Cannon
*60 New Maps
