There are two things you can do to get transparent walls.

1. Use Brother Tanks raycaster that he wrote on DHW. YOu can download the source on my website. Go to the downloads section. The source you can download also supports texture floor and ceiling(without shading) and animated transparent wall and some new combininb of animation and transparency.

2. Use Ripper`s directonal sprites tutorial. These are just sprites that don`t rotate like the normal ones. This was used in EOD. You can find it in the tutorial section at http://www.chaos-software.de.vu
