I found it to be a pretty good set. The levels are well decorated and though there are a lot of new graphics, it keeps the original game feel. I played it all through and it was very enjoyable.
By the way, the link wasn't working but it's been fixed. _________________ Brian. |

Is an ack the sound a cat makes tossing up a furball? I don't get it.
Your maps are nice as far as I've gotten. They were visually appealing and I did notice some original map areas. Develop your own style and you will go far. I would be willing to perform gameplay testing of your future maps because that is my niche (my opinion).
Kiddin' ack, about the furball thingie. _________________ Ain't life a pile of mutant crap?

Actually, ack is the sound that Bill the Cat (Bloom County/Outland/Opus)makes when hacking up a hairball. That is where my nic originates... a cat tossin' up a hairball. I never claimed to be normal.

Map design, good or bad, is often a matter of personal preference. Sometimes you will please people and sometimes you won't. Hard to make a map that is perfect for everyone. However, there are the mechanics of mapping. You still need to work on some of these things. For example, placing doors near the path of a secret wall will cause a graphical glitch. Those kind of mistakes can really kill the feel of a level. Am I picking on you? No. Just telling you what I think. Want a suggestion? Find a couple of people that you can trust and who are willing to look over your work in detail (I'm not offering). Listen to what they say and learn from your mistakes. Releasing stuff without adequate testing often leads to embarassment. Your work is getting better, but you still have a way to go. Keep at it and you will definitely get there. |

Re secret areas near doors not always looking right, a similar thing happens if too many doors are placed close together, especially where a corner is involved, though I didn't notice this in Purgatory. _________________ Brian. |

I think it was a very good set. I actually enjoyed playing it more then EOD. The maps are very well made, as are the graphics.
TIP: Next time change the cheat mode parameters possum. I.e. Don`t make MLI the cheat key that people can use to win the game. _________________ Join my forum at
