Finally, I can do something like this! A few weeks ago I released my MacGFX (Unfinished but I don't care). I gave up on it because changing the graphics of the mac to this format is pointless as it looked even more pixileized than the orignals. So, with the tutorial from Choas Software, I bring you something new. Something not done before. A Port of the Mac Version! It is not near exact, but it does have mac Graphics, and I will post a screenshot soon. It will come in 2 versions - Basic, and Advanced. Little diffrence will be seen between the two, but advanced will have the rocket launcher and flamethrower. Both boast features not in the MAC, but they don't have all the Mac features either. I have the following code changes done (This list will be updated as I go):
*Shading
*"Removing The Scalers"
*High Resolution
*Jaming Elevators (flip the switch a thousand times, nothing will happen)
*Ajusted Hit Points - Guard are now 50 hit points, Hiter Ghost (now something new) has 50 hit points.

If you want to help that would be great, as I need more sprites, I only have weapons,enemies, and walls, and everything else is temporairy from what I have cut from screenshots and websites listing items. The only problem with that is they still don't give you any static objects, I really need help! _________________ My Wolfenstein Website:

Version One is almost complete, but it needs new levels, which will come soon. Note this is NOT an exact port at all, but I do need more mac graphics before continuing. I am also offering that anyone who has a normal type mod (can have graphic changes) to port it into my engine. I can redo all the enemies to fit their needs. Cool idea. It's a shame you have to sacrifice all the other angles of the guards to make this happen, though. It looks like most of the standard guards are quite large compared to the size of the originals in the regular PC version. Still, cool idea...
If you ask me, I think someone should do a conversion of the original Wolfenstein for the Mac that more closely matches the standard PC version. I think they got screwed...though not as badly as those who got the SNES version of Wolf (don't remind me of that crapper). I guess there is no easy way to change that there are limited frames for the Mac enemies or that their behavior is limited with the "sight only" responses, but anyone who plays Wolf but has only played it on the Mac doesn't know what they are missing. How about a complete MAC to PC port? I reckon... oh wait .

Yes, when finished the source will be released, along with MAPEDIT data. This means people can take advantage of high res graphics, rocket launcher and flamethrower ect. So far, graphic editing is only compatable with WDC because it uses 128x128. I hated getting rid of the angles, but for a *somewhat* mac port I had to do it. At the moment it still thinks they are angles (not the sprites, it only uses the front sprites) for A.I., ex: Guard looks at you but does not response because he is in the wrong direction. Oh, I get it...this is one of those "hi-res" projects...that will make getting graphics for modding in the future a bit tricky for people...not that I ever plan to mod... _________________ "I only assume what I know for sure."

Better for you to do it and do it well and be one of the few than for everyone to try it and have it look like crap. I think modding hi-res will be treated the same as modding for newer games like Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior. If people don't want to have to worry about getting graphics that do those games or high res Wolf justice, they will probably stick with modding the traditional version. Don't fret, though. Kyo, first off, on your last post the link doesn't work. And don't get too many hopes up, it isn't an EXACT port, the only real simularity is graphics and some weapons.
Possum, that "General Scheisser" based off of the mac was never in the real mac game, instead they had the following:
