Hey guys! Some of you may have visitited my site. I want comments on my current project 'Amohs Awamuras'. Tell me what you think, what needs like improving and ideas to make it better.
This thread could also be used for a questions/answers place for either one of my projects. Mainly Amohs Awamuras.
Ask any question, get the answer...if I can
JackaL

Looks okay so far. I would strongly suggest that you make it so that your guards light up when they shoot though in shading. It looks totally wierd for their guns to blaze but them to still be shaded like in that first screenshot. Looks pretty promising from what I can tell...I'd play it. My only criticism is I think maybe the shading is too severe in some areas unless you want them to be really dark. _________________ "I only assume what I know for sure."

Some early news, I restated coding from scratch, as adding some things to EZCODE 2 was a bit troublesome. But I have knucked down and added some pretty looking features : Weather effects, shaded walls, and ceiling and floor textures, Im writing the manual and things are looking T-reffic! Im getting so hyped up about how its looking right now, but dont expect anything that could compare to something like EoD! 8)
Thanks for the advice Corran Horn, I'll look up on doing that! _________________ Amohs Awamuras...Self Titled "EoD Clone" |

No problem. I only suggested it cause I saw it done elsewhere before (you can make it so your treasure sprites are never shaded too if you want). I'm not sure how it's done since I can't code, but I know it can be done fairly simply by just assigning the appropriate code to the frames or sprites you never want shaded. Everything looks really cool. Sounds like it's coming along well. _________________ "I only assume what I know for sure."
