I need somebody to bond with. That's one problem. Another problem is that I'm having worries about it:

1. I'm afraid of introducing her to my family. I'm afraid that if she sees what my family is that I may lose her.
2. Rejection.
3. How this will affect my reputation with other people.

I'm suffering from massive paranoia here when it comes to that situation.

Could anyone help me with a solution to both of these problems? Suggestions? Comments? If so, I would be very grateful.

If she really likes you, she will like YOU, despite your family. I suppose you could always warn her before you bring her round.
I have asked out lots of girls over the past year and I have got used to the rejection, to me it hurt badly at first but I've had my highs and lows. There is always time to wait for the right one in your life (well im guessing ) but caring for someone a lot and then losing her can be a very painful experience, I have had it before and wond to myself: "How am I going to live each day?" but i have got over it quickly, but I had a break up a few days ago and I really hurt someones feelings because she really liked me, I still think about it everyday, and she goes to my school. We are just writing letters to each other right now, its the only way I can express my feelings right now. Hope this helps

PS: going out with this girl has damaged my reputation, because a lot of people think im 'sick' because of her appearance, to me, isnt bad. they think i can do better, and that left me in two minds whether to keep her or my reputation.

Well, I don't have a girl friend but I think I might be able to give some tips:

1. Wait before introducing her to your family, so she know YOU well and decides using that opinion.

2. If you play it cool, don't act like an idiot (of course, that my HELP, but don't try), you should be able to get around rejection. Just start with something simple, like asking her to a dance (provided there is one) or taking her to dinner (that may be a jump though)

3. Don't go out with a nasty show-offy 'it is all about me' girl because then people will think of you as the same of her, and nobody will like you.

Well, it isn't a pros suggestions but consider them.
