Original Wolf 3D - Episode 6 Favourite Levels
I've seen episode 6 figure well against other episodes in polls but I'd like to know which individual level others prefer. It's easy for me to say the one I don't like. That's level 2 - probably the most interesting part of that level is the large secret area and you can only access that if the pushwall moves exactly 2 squares!!! The rest of the level is boring at best. Possibly, my favourite is level 8 (I like the atmosphere and design) but all the levels 4 through 7 I find pretty good. Levels 4, 5 and 7 for their good design and decoration and level 6 for it's good guard placement. The secret level is very complicated and one of the most difficult to beat. What do others think about episode 6 levels?

Yeah, I like the boss level, as its the major climax of the entire game. They're all good though.

Yes, e6 l5 is one of my favourites after e6 l8. I can see why you like it. :)

It's easy for me to say the one I don't like. That's level 2. I like reading your views. For what it's worth, E6L2 has a pretty memorable value to me. Whenever I dive into Episode 6 again, I can almost always remember the layout to the finish line best when I'm in level 2 (despite how most of it's areas have two or more ways you can pick), and I know that alot of it is because of how much drive I feel while playing it. No idea if I'd put it as a favorite, but I do find it pleasing. As I get out of the two open rooms and shoot down the wall of guards that block the hallways, I just get that rush of "yeah, I'm getting closer" everytime I run through another one of those long hallways, turn a corner, or open a door to a new area. The guards along the way make fun obstacles, especially seeing them from 20 miles away and trying to anticipate how you'll handle them as you're getting closer. No other level really offers what it does when it comes to the winding, clear yet epic feel it has that I can't put into words. But, I never tried doing the level without running, so I'm guessing it could be alot more boring that way. probably the most interesting part of that level is the large secret area and you can only access that if the pushwall moves exactly 2 squares!!! Ah, I always forget that secret area exists... unless someone talks about the bug! Pretty nice cavern of goodies though. Thanks for reminding me again.
