Wolfenstein Extremities Engine- Feature Listings This topic has a near complete listing of all features implemented in Wolfenstein Extremities, as of
21st of February 2005. It is asked that you do not steal original ideas without letting the original
author know. Alot of this is inspired by Wolf Advanced, however, this is not a public editting engine.
It is the engine I will use as a base for my own mods and TC's
Even though it was inspired, I'm not making it a public editting kit, like BT is with Plus and Advanced. It
is the engine I plan to use for my Projects
::Game Fixes (appearances/bugs)::
* Ammo Display Fix - By Deathshead - Added a noammo variable (=0) for the knife.
* Menu Fade In/Out - By Deathshead - Menu Fade in and out has been slowed for a nicer effect
::Features installed::
* Wall Patches - By Adam Biser/BrotherTank - Places decals over walls.
* Scrolling Walls - By Adam Biser - Walls that move side to side or up and down (like in DOOM)
* Ingame Messages - By WSJ/Deathshead - Messages that appear when the Player triggers an event
* Animated Walls - By Darkone - Place an object over a wall, and it will become animated
* End Level Object - By Deathshead - Running over it will end the level. Good for seamless flow
* Speed change by weapon- By TexZK - When the player has a heavier weapon, he moves slower
* Intermission Screens - By BrotherTank - Helpart Screens that appear between levels
* Seamless Game Progress- By MCS - Eliminates the use of Episodes
* Guards Bleed when shot- By Deathshead - When shot, a guard will drop a puddle of blood
* Landmines - By Deathshead - When walked over, it explodes, damaging the actor
* Enemies Pick Up Items - By MCS - Enemies can pick up items, and gaining bonuses from them
* Enemies use other guns- By Deathshead - Using MCS routines, enemies can pick up and use other weapons
* Textured Floor/Ceiling- By Darkone - Ceiling and Floor use wall textures.
* Multi~Floor Textures - By Adam Biser - A Mod of Darkone's Routine to allow multiple floor textures
* Outside Atmosphere - By Ripper - Levels can have an outside effect (Stars/Rain/Snow)
* Map Control - By BrotherTank - Textures, Colours, and Starry Sky are controlled by MapTiles
* Text on Diff Screen - By Chris Chokan - When a difficulty is selected, describing text is displayed
::Things to Do::
* Stop Blood loss stupidity (Guards run like idiots when they bleed)
* Make Enemies shoot each other
And I need people to help me with certain source mods.

UPDATE: DUE TO SEVERE BUG, PROJECT HAS BEEN RESTARTED. AS AN ADDED PRECAUTION, I HAVE A CAN OF FLY SPRAY ON MY DESK, IN CASE THAT BUG COMES BACK... :lol:

Why don't you use the version of your Knife Showing 0 Ammo that I posted? There will be no ammo shown!
Also, I can help with some code changes if you want. I tried making enemies shoot each other, didn't work too well, but with a little help it should work. In my old version, an enemie would shoot at someone else and injure both me and the guy, and then he would get hit himself by his own shot! :lol:

Yeah, the Enemies using other weapons, I'm still working on it. Until I decide to fix it, one guard collects a machinegun, they all have machineguns, until you kill one of them...

Isn't that settable by a variable that is only used by one object, so if one guard picks it up it only sets it for him?
